Backpack Baby (and more Halloween!)

Alanna has been craving more independence lately, and has been making it known to Steve and I by struggling ceaselessly against her stroller's restraints. We bought her a backpack with a little harness so that she can walk next to us in the mall or outside and not feel like we're keeping her down. Most of the time she holds our hands just fine, but at least we know that when she bolts, she won't be going far.

Here are some bonus Halloween photos, too!
They're from last weekend when we were all in Barrie for the annual Halloween bash. It was seven years ago at that party that Steve and I met. I can't believe it! This year, I was a circus ringmaster and Steve was Calvin from the comic strip Calvin & Hobbes so that we would both match Alanna's tiger costume.

Poor baby was scared of Mommy and Daddy's costumes at first. She hid from us behind Grandmummy's legs!
