Alanna's first birthday was on August 6th. We had a big, Elmo-themed birthday party for her at my parents' backyard tiki bar on August 3rd. Alanna had a great time. Thanks to everyone who attended, and to my parents for hosting!

We had a small celebration on her actual birthday, too. Alanna wasn't feeling well, so we couldn't do much that day. We had a quiet day in and some more delicious birthday cake.
